Happy Halloween from Mountain Valley Lodge and RV Park in Rodeo, New Mexico! Hope your children have fun trick and treating. The parents have fun with a bonfire, wear costumes, carving pumpkins into Jack O Lanterns, apple bobbing, haunted houses and scary stories.

In many countries celebrate this evening of October 31st, I also found out this was called All Hallows' Eve. Some think of superstition pagan roots. and This is getting to shorter days and cooler evenings ushering in winter season with gatherings.

In our area at the Animas school the parents fill the trunk of the cars with candy and kids go from trunk to trunk this saves the parents from driving them around the San Simon area.

  3. I did not know you had a costume party. No wonder you did not go on our hike with masks/wigs for the hike photo!

  6. I sure enjoyed having the parties but was so much work to get ready for it.
That gal told me she enjoyed the hike but tired when she got home.
