I went up to Paradise, Arizona with a friend of mine today to go for a short walk around town and checked out the cemetery today. Paradise is a ghost town now with just a hand full of full time residents. Paradise allegedly had 13 saloons at one time, none now. The original jail was open air jail where prisoners were shackled to a chain run between two trees.
The Paradise Cemetery is located in Cochise county, Arizona. A executive committee takes care of the rules of burial privileges to any person and immediate family whose primary residence is or was within the right boundary. The book Resting in Paradise was written by Alden C. Hayes the book is available at the Myrtle Kraft Library in Portal, Arizona for $12.00 it has all the graves located with pictures plus more in it.
We then went to the Portal Cafe to have lunch which was very good, so it was a very nice day.
