The Murals I believe was part of a project from artists team and local school children to design and paint these murals.
Gough Park is famous for the Blues Festival they have every Memorial Day weekend. The park gets used for many events during the year some are Copper Country Cruizers host a car show with vehicles 1973 and older. Earth Day celebrates with information booths, plant sales, food and entertainment. Several concerts thru out the year. In December the light go on at the Gazebo to start the holiday season, with singing Christmas carols. July 4th is celebrated at Gough Park with vendor booths, games, activities, cowboy breakfast and live music.
On my map in the Silver City phone book, I think we've been to Gough Park. Is that right across the road from Wells Fargo? We have just been there on NON event times, walking the dogs and eating something at a picnic table. Hubbie does not like crowds.
ReplyDeleteYes Gough Park is right across from Wells Fargo. I have been there for several different events, to bad your hubbie does not like crowds guess I will ask you along next time I go to a event at the Park.
